On Thursday 13th, Friday 14th June and Saturday 15th June, I will be running a lino print workshop at Morvah Schoolhouse Gallery.  You are welcome to join one or more workshops.  Please select your day using the options above.

This workshop runs alongside a group exhibition 'Under The Hawthorn Tree', in which I will be showing a selection of my prints alongside a group of talented artists whose work spans painting, jewellery, poetry, sculpture and textiles.

The workshop will begin at 11 am and finish at 2pm, it is suitable for beginners and those who want to develop their skills.   We will be printing by hand during this workshop. All materials will be supplied.  The cost for each day is £40.

The Morvah Schoolhouse Gallery has beautiful panoramic views to inspire you, and there is a cafe serving delicious food.

‘Under The Hawthorn Tree’, is open from 9th - 21st June at Morvah Schoolhouse Gallery, with an opening celebration 11am - 1pm, Sunday 9th June.

With hands on practical demonstrations; by the end of the day you will have had the opportunity to create your own lino print.  We will explore lino cutting techniques, mark making and composition.

I will introduce you to my creative process, sharing the sketchbook drawings and lino blocks behind my finished prints.  All my prints begin with drawing from direct observation.  The development of these drawings into lino prints becomes a mindful immersion that keeps me grounded, offering an insight into the interconnectedness of health and well-being with the creative process.

Whether you choose to bring an ongoing project or explore new ideas during the session, you'll find a supportive environment to help develop your artistic growth.
