The Sky Ink silk covered brooch is part of the Moon Tree collection, it is an immersion into winter woodlands, rich in narrative and metaphor. Forests are the lungs for our planet, and in a way the lungs for our soul, and wellbeing. This collection of silk scarves, bags, purses and limited edition prints takes whimsical inspiration from a 17th century writer who hypothesised that swallows fly to the moon to hibernate, each print layers my illustrations of the moon, swallows and winter woodlands.
